Analytical Overview of Articles on the Historical and Commemoration Themes in the Zena Betakerestiyan ze Eteyopeya 1 Newspaper of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church 1945 - 1950; 1955 - 1968

Abstract

Sixty eight articles of the historical and commemoration themes found in the ZenaBetakerestiyan ze Eteyopeya newspaper of the nineteen years period have been analyzedfor their content and scholarship. The result revealed that the explored articles arecomprehensive in their content dealing with the history of the church, its popularfigures, institutions, communities and relation with the state and foreign communities.The scholarship applied for the reconstruction of such issues, however, threatens notonly the quality but also the reliability of the produced accounts, no matter how the fewstrong sides are not deniable.
